UNITIY VALLEY

Iqbal Training College was hosted five days residential community living camp as a part of B. Ed curriculum in order to nurture cross cultural harmony, empathy, and unity among students. This camp is nourished with listening, learning and recreating by sharing perspectives each other and honouring each other's differences. In this camp " Cultures blend" , " Hearts connect" , and " Unity born" With collective efforts to highlight the prime mottos, " In unity lies our strength and in diversity lies our beauty".
First day (19/11/24) 
The residential camp was inaugurated by Shri. Aneesh Kumar, Inspector and SHO palode police station. The fist academic session of the camp was handled by Anu Mukund. Session was MELODIES OF DIVERSITY. It was an interacting session. The class were started with an activity that we want to write the positive qualities of our friends. The session mainly aims to got an self awareness and to get understand about importance of planning. 
Then, a short film named JUICE was showed with an open forum. The film reveals the condition of women in a male dominated society. Next, THE HIDDEN FORTUNE a game session were held. It was a treasure hunt. It was an interesting one. Finally, the cultural programmes were held and winds up that day.
Second day (20/11/24) 
We were decided to start the day with a morning walk unfortunately, due to rain it was cancelled. After breakfast, news bulletin presentation from every house were held. As an academic session two workshops were held. One is folk song awareness by our Principal and other one art album workshop by our teacher, Archa. We all enjoyed on the both sessions. The mock parliament was taken as VIOCES OF TOMORROW. The most active session were taken place was WIBE AND THRIVE at evening. It was a zumba done by our senior Jemima. The elegant function of thos day was GLAMOUR ON THE RUNWAY, the fashion show by our friends in various bride from different states. Finally, with cultural programs tha day had been winded. 
Third day (21/11/24) 
The day was started with Yoga by our physical education tutor. As an academic session, a workshop on song composition by Dr. Chayam Dharmarajan was conducted. Some of the students were written poems in their own Creativity. A food preparation section were held as FLAVOUR FUSION. On afternoon, we went to an old age home at Vithura. It was a sadful moment for all of us. We spend some time with them. We tried to make them more happy and tried to develop a feeling that they are not alone. On evening SPICE STREET, we experienced the delight of thattukada in our campus. The day was ended with UNITED FLAMES, the camp fire. It was a fabulous moment for all of us. We enjoyed a lot. 
Fourth day (22/11/24) 
We visited Vagamon as a field trip. We depart at 4am from the college. We visited pine forest, paruthumpara, and also done boating and other adventures also. We returned to college at around morning 1.30am.
Fifth day(23/11/24) 
It was the final day of our camp. A valedictory functio LEGACY FAREWELL conducted with reflection from oru camp student coordinators, teachers and principal.
